Dr. Nadine Collaert is an imec fellow and part-time professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB, Belgium). She is currently leading the technology office in the connected computing sector, looking at long-term technical roadmaps, while scouting emerging technologies and trends. Until 2024, she was responsible for the advanced RF program looking at heterogeneous integration of III-V/III-N devices with advanced CMOS to tackle the challenges of next generation mobile communication. Before that, she was program director of the LOGIC Beyond Si program focused on the research on novel CMOS devices and new material-enabled device and system approaches to increase functionality. She has been involved in the theory, design, and technology of FinFET devices, emerging memories, transducers for biomedical applications and the integration and characterization of biocompatible materials. She has a PhD in electrical engineering from KU Leuven and she holds more than 500 publications and more than 15 patents in the field of device design and process technology.

Shweta Agarwala is full Professor and Associate Dean at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Ahmedabad University, India where she leads the pioneering Green Materials and Devices Laboratory. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on the development of sustainable electronic materials and devices, with a vision to drive environmental responsibility in electronics through the creation of fully biodegradable and flexible devices. She completed her Master’s degree at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and earned her PhD from the National University of Singapore. She was a tenured professor at Aarhus University, Denmark. An active contributor to the scientific community, Shweta has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals, books, and conferences. She is co-founder of many ventures. She is a senior IEEE member and is dedicated to advancing gender diversity in engineering.

Luisa Petti received her M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) in 2011. She obtained her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich (Switzerland) in 2016 with a thesis entitled “Metal oxide semiconductor thin-film transistors for flexible electronics”, for which she won the ETH medal. After a short post-doc at ETH Zurich, she joined first Cambridge Display Technology Ltd in October 2016 and then FlexEnable Ltd in December 2017 in Cambridge, UK as a Scientist. In 2018 she joined the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where she is Full Professor in Electronics since August 2025. Luisa’s current research includes the design, fabrication and characterization of flexible and printable sensors, energy harvesters, and thin-film devices and circuits.

Professor Tamalika Banerjee (ba-nur-jee), who is a Rosalind Franklin Fellow, Professor and Chair of 'Spintronics of Functional Materials' Group at the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials, University of Groningen (krow-ning-en), the Netherlands and is a member of Cognitive Systems and Materials Center.

Professor Regina Dittmann received her PhD in Physics from the University of Giessen, Germany, in 1994. She had previously received her Physics degree from the University of Cologne, Germany, in 1990. Since November 2012, she has been a professor at RWTH Aachen University's Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and since 2022, she has been a guest professor in the Department of Engineering at Lund University in Sweden. She is the director of the Institute of Electronic Materials (PGI-7) at Forschungszentrum Jülich, where her research focuses on the atomically controlled growth of oxides, memristive devices, and neuromorphic circuits. She is an internationally recognised expert on memristive devices and their operating and failure mechanisms.

Manijeh Razeghi received the Doctorate d’état ES Sciences Physiques from the Université de Paris, France, in 1980.
Manijeh Razeghi was the Head of the Exploratory Materials Laboratory at Thomson-CSF (France) during the 80’s where she developed and implemented modern metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) vapor phase epitaxy (VPE), molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), GasMBE, and MOMBE for entire compositional ranges of III-V compound semiconductors from deep UV to THZ. Developing these tools was fundamental in enabling her to achieve high purity semiconductor crystals with a consistency and reliability that was often unmatched, thereby leading to new physics phenomena in InP , GaAs, GaSb, and AlN based semiconductors and quantum structures. She realized the first InP Quantum wells and Superlattices and demonstrated the marvels of quantum mechanics in the low dimensional world.
She joined Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, as a Walter P. Murphy Professor and Director of the Center for Quantum Devices in Fall 1991, where she created the undergraduate and graduate program in solid-state engineering.
She has authored or co-authored more than 1000 papers, more than 35 book chapters, and 20 books, including the textbooks Technology of Quantum Devices (Springer Science Business Media, Inc., New York, NY U.S.A. 2010) and Fundamentals of Solid State Engineering, 4th Edition (Springer Science Business Media, Inc., New York, NY U.S.A. 2018). Two of her books, MOCVD Challenge Vol. 1 (IOP Publishing Ltd., Bristol, U.K., 1989) and MOCVD Challenge Vol. 2 (IOP Publishing Ltd., Bristol, U.K., 1995), discuss some of her pioneering work in InP-GaInAsP and GaAs-GaInAsP based systems. The MOCVD Challenge, 2nd Edition (Taylor & Francis/CRC Press, 2010) represents the combined updated version of Volumes 1 and 2. She holds many U.S. patents and has given more than 1000 invited and plenary talks. Her current research interest is in nanoscale optoelectronic quantum devices. From deep UV to Thz.
Dr. Razeghi is a Fellow of MRS, IOP, IEEE, APS, SPIE, OSA, Fellow and Life Member of Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and Fellow of the International Engineering Consortium (IEC). She received the IBM Europe Science and Technology Prize in 1987, the Achievement Award from the SWE in 1995, the R.F. Bun shah Award in 2004, IBM Faculty Award 2013, the Jan Czochralski Gold Medal in 2016, the 2018 Benjamin Franklin Medal in Electrical Engineering, LSA 10th Anniversary Outstanding Contribution Award, and many best paper awards. She is an elected life-Fellow of SWE, IEEE, and MRS. She is honored as a member of Academy of Europe 2021.

Maria Merlyne De Souza received her B.Sc (Physics, Maths) from University of Mumbai, B.E. (Electronics and Communications Engineering), IISc Bangalore and PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. She became Professor of Electronics and Materials at the Emerging Technologies Research Centre, De Montfort University in 2003 and Professor of Microelectronics at the University of Sheffield in 2007. She has been a technical and executive committee member of IEDM 2012-2017 and IEEE-IRPS 2003-2013. She has co-authored 117 journal papers and 190 conferences in multidisciplinary research topics to date. She is currently VP of Technical Activities (New Initiatives) of the IEEE-EDS society. She is also a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE – Electron Devices Society.
